Community empowerment is an effort to develop all potentials or participation in the community, by encouraging, motivating (raising awareness) of their potential so as to provide change to the community both in terms of participation, as well as in social aspects. This research aims to find out the picture of community empowerment in Mangku Negara Village. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. This research uses jim ife's theory of empowerment, enabling, empowering, and protecting. The results of this research are known that there are four forms of empowerment in Mangku Negara Village, namely: sewing courses in PKK mothers, training activities (waste management training, appropriate technology training, office administration training), chicken farming, making woven handicrafts.
