PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN SQ3R TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SMA NEGERI 20 PALEMBANG

This study aims to prove the effect of the SQ3R learning method on economic subjects at Senior High School number 20 Palembang. This research is an experimental type of research that uses a Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One-Group Pretest Postest. The population in this study were all class XI IPS at Senior High School number 20 Palembang. The sample in this study was class XI IPS 4 as an experimental class with a total of 32 students. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations and learning process are carried out face-to-face directly in class. The hypothesis uses the related sample t-test and obtained tcount = 29.06 ttable = 1.669, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the SQ3R learning method on student learning outcomes in economic subjects at Senior High school number 20 Palembang. It is recommended for students to be diligent in reading about information related to the material so that the learning process can run optimally.
