ANALISIS FINANCIAL DISTRESS MENGGUNAKAN METODE SPRINGATE DAN ZMIJEWSKI UNTUK MEMPREDIKSI KEBANGKRUTAN PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR PERTAMBANGAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

This study aims to identify and analyze financial distress using the Springate and Zmijewski methods to predict bankruptcy in mining sector companies listed on the IDX and to find out which financial distress analysis method is the most accurate in predicting bankruptcy in mining sector companies listed on the IDX. This research uses Purposive Sampling method with sample data obtained by as many as 38 companies. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Springate method and the Zmijewski method. The results showed that the Springate method and the Zmijewski method gave different prediction results in predicting bankruptcy. The Zmijewski method is the most accurate method for predicting the bankruptcy of mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with an accuracy rate of 79,82% compared to the Springate method with an accuracy rate of 61,40%.
