ANALISA GEMPA BUMI MENGGUNAKAN ANALISIS MORFOTEKTONIK DAERAH MUBA DAN SEKITARNYA, SUMATERA SELATAN.

The research was conducted in Muba and its surroundings, South Sumatra. This area is included in the back arc basin which is not uncommon for geological disasters, one of which is an earthquake. The aim of this research is to identify the tectonic activity of the geological structure path associated with landform factors and to analyze the morphometric analysis of the drainage basin. The method used is a quantitative geomorphological approach. The evaluation focused on morphographic analysis of Area A, Area B, and Area C in the research area. The parameters used include the calculation of valley floor width to valley height ratio (Vf), hyposometric integral (HI), basin elongation (Re), and mountain front sinuosity (Smf). The results of the analysis show that it has relatively strong-moderate tectonic activity based on the value of the tectonic activity index plot (IAT). This illustrates that the research area has a synchronization of morphotectonic analysis with earthquake data according to the BMKG in 2021.
