PEMBINGKAIAN BERITA GLORIFIKASI KEBEBASAN SAIPUL JAMIL YANG DI UNDANG DALAM ACARA TELEVISI (Analisis Framing pada Media Online Kompas.com Edisi 03-09 September 2021)

This research is entitled Framing the Glorification of the Freedom News of Saipul Jamil who was invited to a television program. The reason for this research is the glorification of Saipul Jamil is an event that becomes a trending topic and is often reported on by media. This study uses framing theory using a framing model that was by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki which has four analytical tools: syntax, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The researcher uses a qualitative method, the researcher does this by collecting news about Saipul Jamil's glorification contained in Kompas.com news. In this study, it was found that the framing of Saipul Jamil's Glorification has violated journalistic rules, namely that there are still some that do not contain an element of balance and Kompas.com tends to side with the interests of the majority of people who do not agree with Saipul Jamil's glorification.
