HUBUNGAN AKTIVITAS FISIK DENGAN KELELAHAN KERJA PADA KURIR PENGANTAR BARANG DI PT. TIKI JALUR NUGRAHA EKAKURIR (JNE) CABANG KOTA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2022

Work Exhaustion is a condition when a body can no longer do any work caused by light, moderate or heavy physical activities carried out in either a working environment or outside of work. A job with risks of experiencing work exhaustion is delivery couriers, especially in the pandemic period where the frequency of courier delivery service use is higher than before. The aim of this research is to find out the relationship between physical activities and work exhaustion on delivery couriers at PT.Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) Palembang City Branch in 2022. The research method uses descriptive quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The research population is all delivery couriers at JNE Palembang City Branch with a minimum sample size of 70 respondents. The data analysis uses univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test with a level of trust of 95 % and significance of 5%. The result of the analysis shows that there is no relationship between physical activities (p-value=0,539) with the level of work exhaustion. However, there is a significant relationship between ages (p-value=0,014), physical or health condition (p-value = 0,011), working period (p-value=0,013), working length (p-value=0,007) with the level of work exhaustion. From this research, it is found that the variables of ages, physical or health condition, working period, and working length confound the occurrence of exhaustion on delivery couriers at Tiki Jalur Nugraha (JNE) Inc. Palembang City Branch. It is recommended to the couriers to work professionally and proportionally, do stretching before working to relieve the tension while working, pay attention to diets consumed, drink enough water, and maintain sleep patterns.
