The road currently has a lot of problems, ranging from a cracked asphalt, asphalt potholes, bumpy asphalt, and others - others. One cause of this damage is the influence of temperature or temperature. It is therefore necessary to find a good solution in order to anticipate this situation. Determination of the proper type of asphalt will improve the quality of the road itself. Of course, in determining the type of asphalt will require research in the laboratory. Asphalt is the result of production of materials - natural materials, so that nature - the nature of asphalt should always be examined in the laboratoiy and bitumen that meets the requirements - requirements that have been set can be used as a binder perkerasa flexible. Examination include: Penetration Testing, Testing Ductility, Softening Point Testing, Testing Fuel Flash Point and Point, Density Testing, Asphalt Testing Weight Loss, and Viscosity Tests. Temperatures around the time the examination is very influential. It can be seen from the results obtained, ie the higher the temperature around the perfonnance of asphalt on the wane.
