Knowledge is one of the non-physical assets that can be a strength for companies to increase efforts to achieve goals. The Trade Office of Muara Enim Regency or abbreviated as Disdag has knowledge assets in the form of explicit and tacit knowledge that exist in each individual in it, but the Ministry of Trade doesn yet have a system that can keep and manage this knowledge, so the process of transferring or sharing knowledge is difficult to share between employees. The purpose of this research is to provide a forum for each knowledge so that it can be utilized properly and the process of sharing knowledge between employees can run optimally. This research implements a method proposed by (Awad and Ghaziri 2004) namely Knowledge Management System Life Cycle (kmslc). The result of the research is a knowledge management system that becomes a documentation container, so that it can help to manage existing knowledge and also reduce the risk of loss of knowledge in the company, and than as well as a medium for sharing among employees.
