PENERAPAN KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA (K3) PADA PRAKTIK MEMBUBUT DI BENGKEL JURUSAN TEKNIK PEMESINAN SMK NEGERI 2 PALEMBANG

This study aims to determine the application of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) of class XI students during lathe practice in the Workshop of the Department of Mechanical Engineering SMK Negeri 2 Palembang. This type of research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach, a population of 99 students, who are class XI students of Mechanical engineering SMK Negeri 2 Palembang. Sampling techniques using Random Sampling or Simple Random Sampling techniques, The sample used in this study was 33 students of grade XI TPM 3. The main variable is the Application of K3 to Lathe Practice, with sub-variables of awareness and application. The data collection technique uses a written questionnaire totaling 30 items, and using an observation sheet or checklist totaling 10 items. Data analysis techniques in this study use descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) The level of awareness of students in the application of K3 in the practice of lathe is included in the High category; (2) The application of K3 has been carried out by students well.
