HUBUNGAN ANTARA INTERNAL LOCUS OF CONTROL DENGAN PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK SISWA SMA NEGERI 1 INDRALAYA

Internal locus of control greatly influences students' lives because it is one of the causes of academic procrastination. This research aims to determine the relationship between internal locus of control and academic procrastination of students at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. This research is quantitative research using correlational methods. The population in this study was class The sampling used was the Simple Random Sampling technique using a picker wheel. The data collection technique uses a psychological scale, namely the internal locus of control scale and academic procrastination. The research results showed that the level of internal locus of control of students was in the medium category with a percentage of 46% (37 students) and the level of procrastination was in the medium category with a percentage of 49% (39 students).
