This study aims to determine the effect of parenting styles on the social-emotional development of children in Group B at TK IT Insan Mandiri Cendekia Palembang. The research is quantitative, using an Ex Post Facto method. The independent variable is parenting style, while the dependent variable is the children's social- emotional development. The sample consists of 30 children, with data collected through questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis includes validity, reliability, normality, hypothesis testing, simple linear regression, and t-test using SPSS V.17.0. The results show that parenting style has a significant effect on children's social-emotional development, with a coefficient of determination of 20.1%, while the remaining 79.9% is influenced by other factors.
