ANALISIS WACANA BERBASIS KORPUS PADA WACANA PENGGUNAAN TEKNOLOGI ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE DI FOTOGRAFI PADA KOLOM KOMENTAR YOUTUBE

Hutauruk, M. Gilang Fadhil Amrullah - Personal Name;

This study aims to analyze the discourse on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in photography through corpus-based discourse analysis of YouTube comments tagged with #AIPhotography. This approach seeks to identify the frequency, collocation, and concordance of dominant words related to the phenomenon. Data were collected from five YouTube videos uploaded between August 28, 2022, and June 7, 2023. The findings reveal that discourse on AI in photography is predominantly characterized by neutral words (3,318 occurrences), followed by positive words (1,071 occurrences), and a small portion of negative words (395 occurrences). In the collocation dimension, words such as fake, threat, and problem are frequently associated with the potential misuse of AI technology in photography. However, in the concordance dimension, words like like, good, great, and creative highlight AI's potential to support photographers' creativity and productivity. Conversely, words like threat and fake reflect concerns about AI's impact on the authenticity of artworks and the sustainability of the photography profession. These findings emphasize the need for clear regulations, technology literacy training for photographers, and a human-centered AI (HCAI) approach to ensure ethical AI integration while fostering the development of the photography industry.
