ANALISIS FRAMING PEMBERITAAN DUGAAN GRATIFIKASI KAESANG PANGAREP DALAM PENGGUNAAN JET PRIBADI PADA PORTAL MEDIA BERITA ONLINE DETIK.COM DAN KOMPAS.COM

This research analyzes media framing construction regarding the alleged gratification news related to the private jet usage by Kaesang Pangarep on two national online news portals, Detik.com and Kompas.com. By implementing the framing analysis model proposed by Zhondang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki, this study comprehensively explores four dimensional structures: syntactical, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The analysis results indicate significant divergence in the journalistic approaches of both media outlets. Detik.com demonstrates a tendency toward information actuality, while Kompas.com emphasizes verification and accuracy in news presentation. The research findings reveal that the implementation of framing strategies not only contributes to the formation of public perception regarding the alleged gratification case but also represents the manifestation of editorial values embraced by each media outlet. The theoretical and practical implications of this research are expected to contribute to the development of online journalism studies in Indonesia, as well as enrich the understanding of academics, media practitioners, and society regarding the complexity of reality construction in digital media reporting.
