ANALISIS PEMAHAMAN SISWA TERHADAP PERUBAHAN IKLIM DAN DAMPAK PEMANASAN GLOBAL DI SMA N 1 PALEMBANG

This study aims to determine the level of understanding of upper grade students regarding Climate Change and the Impact of Global Warming. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang involving 100 grade X students in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The research instrument used was 22 questions in the form of multiple choice, three steps with details of respondents choosing true or false along with the reasons. The results of the research on students' understanding of climate change and the impact of global warming are 74.25% of students understand the causes of the greenhouse effect and climate change, 83.7% of students understand the impact of the greenhouse effect on the environment on earth, and 88.9% of students understand the solution to the greenhouse effect. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview of students' understanding of climate change and the impact of global warming at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang.
