KANDUNGAN LOGAM BERAT TIMBAL (PB) DAN KADMIUM (CD) PADA TANDAN BUAH SEGAR KELAPA SAWIT YANG DITANAM DI TANAH GAMBUT DAN MINERAL DI PT MUTIARA BUNDA JAYA KEBUN TANJUNG SARI
Palm Oil (Elaeis guineensis) is an industry that is useful as a producer of cooking oil, industrial oil and also fuel. Oil palm trees consist of two species, namely Elaeis guineensi and Elaeis oleifera which are used for commercial agriculture to produce palm oil. In oil palm plantations, indirect absorption of nutrients can absorb heavy metals from the soil and can have negative effects on humans. This research aims to determine the levels of heavy metals lead (PB) and cadmium (CD) in oil palm fruit from PT Mutiara Bunda Jaya Kebun Tanjung Sari. The method used in this research was Proportionate Stratified Simple Random Sampling, in each planting year 6 samples were taken and divided into 3 peat soil samples and 3 mineral soil samples. So a total of 12 fruit samples were taken. The results of this study indicate that the heavy metals lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) in oil palm fruit have lead (Pb) values ranging from
