PERENCANAAN DAN PERANCANGAN SHOPPING MALL DENGAN PENDEKATAN KONSERVASI ENERGI PADA BANGUNAN DI PURBALINGGA

This report describes the planning and design of shopping mall in Purbalingga City with an energy conservation approach. Planning is based on the lack of recreational facilities in Purbalingga City, which is indicated by the absence of shopping mall buildings in the city. The main focus of this project is to provide recreational and entertainment facilities in the form of the first shopping mall building in Purbalingga without consuming too much energy. The energy conservation approach is implemented through space program, building envelope and semi open building form. The emphasis on energy conservation is presented in the building design which has a natural ventilation system in the atrium as the main circulation area, natural lighting in the corridors, the implementation of rain water harvesting system. Thus, the designed shopping mall building with quite diverse functions such as shopping center, recreational and entertainment facilities can be performed without consuming too much energy.
