SIMULASI DAN ANALISIS TURBIN ANGIN DARRIEUS PADA PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA BAYU MENGGUNAKAN MATLAB
The demand for energy increases along with technological development and population growth. Electrical energy has become a primary necessity, yet it still largely relies on non-renewable fossil fuels. Wind energy is one of the environmentally friendly renewable sources with great development potential. The Darrieus-type wind turbine is a vertical-axis turbine capable of operating at low wind speeds and from various directions. This study aims to simulate and analyze the power output of a three-blade Darrieus wind turbine using MATLAB Simulink. Simulations were carried out at wind speeds of 1-7 m/s. The results showed that the maximum power output of 57.29 watts was achieved at a wind speed of 7 m/s. A comparison between the simulation results and theoretical calculations showed a small difference, ranging from 0.01 to 0.52 Watts, with an average error of 4.51%. Therefore, the developed simulation model adequately represents the ideal conditions mathematically.
