ANALISIS EFISIENSI TEKNIS DAN PRODUKTIVITAS INDUSTRI PERALATAN KOMUNIKASI (ISIC 263) INDONESIA
Digitalization has become the foundation of industry and economy, consumer electronics and components or communication equipment industry in Indonesia is a sector with quite large market opportunities. However, the still weak and limited industrial structure, as well as the changes in productivity patterns and increased automation seen in the industry are the basis for the objectives of this study to analyze technical efficiency, productivity and the relationship between the two. The research variables used are capital, labor and output, with secondary data in the form of time series with a research period of 15 years or from 2008 to 2022. The analysis technique used is the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) approach and the calculation of Total Factor Productivity (TFP) components. The results of the study indicate that the communication equipment industry in Indonesia is technically inefficient (0.5124) so that the level of productivity of this industry is also low (0.4642). In other words, technical efficiency and industrial productivity show a close relationship in reflecting the capabilities of a company.
