Palembang, rich in cultural heritage, has strong potential for heritage tourism—especially through its iconic but underappreciated songket craft. A gallery in the city’s historic Songket district would serve as a creative, educational, and recreational hub to celebrate and promote this art form. Designed with a sustainable and holistic approach, the gallery offers flexible spaces, greenery, and an open layout to encourage learning, artistic expression, and deeper appreciation of songket's cultural value.
