HUBUNGAN SCREEN BASED ACTIVITY, PERILAKU MAKAN, DAN DURASI TIDUR DENGAN STATUS GIZI REMAJA DI SMK NEGERI 1 KABUPATEN KERINCI
The adolescent group is a nutritionally vulnerable group because during adolescence a growth spurt or rapid growth occurs. This is because teenagers experience puberty and it is a transition period from children to adults, so they need more attention to their nutritional status so that they do not experience malnutrition. One of the factors that influences nutritional status in adolescents is the behavior of staring at screens for too long, unhealthy eating behavior and poor sleep. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between screen based activity, eating behavior and sleep duration with the nutritional status of adolescents at SMK Negeri 1 Kerinci Regency. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this research was 72 students of SMA Negeri 1 Kerinci Regency with a sampling technique, namely Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data collection was carried out by filling out questionnaires, interviews with the SQ-FFQ instrument, and measuring height and weight. Data analysis carried out was univariate and bivariate analysis with the alternative chi-square test. Univariate test results showed that 4 respondents (5.6%) had less nutritional status, 9 respondents (12.5%) had more nutritional status, 64 respondents (88.9%) had high screen based activity, 39 respondents ( 54.2%) had unhealthy eating behavior, 22 respondents (30.6%) had inappropriate food intake, and 43 respondents (59.7%) had abnormal sleep duration. The bivariate test results showed that there was a relationship between eating behavior (p=0.033) and food intake (p=0.016) with the nutritional status of adolescents at SMK Negeri 1 Kerinci Regency. However, there was no relationship between screen based activity (p=1.000) and sleep duration (p=0.430) with the nutritional status of adolescents at SMK Negeri 1 Kerinci Regency. It is recommended that students maintain good nutrition by limiting screen time, maintaining balanced eating habits by consuming nutritious foods, and setting a regular sleep time.
