ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA BAGLOG JAMUR TIRAM (STUDI KASUS BAGLOG JAMUR TIRAM UMKM YADIN DESA BAKUNG KECAMATAN INDRALAYA UTARA KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR)

Sianturi, Kireina Ester Caroline - Personal Name;

Baglogs are containers for breeding mushroom fruiting bodies in which there are already media and nutrients that support mushroom growth. The main ingredient of baglogs is generally sawdust, because oyster mushrooms include wood mushrooms. Baglogs are processed with various stages to produce ready-to-use mushroom baglogs that will be marketed to consumers. This farm operates in Bakung Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, to ensure the sustainability of this farm, an in-depth business feasibility analysis is needed as a basis for making investment decisions. This study aims to: (1) Describe the baglog making carried out in the oyster mushroom baglog business in Bakung Village. (2) Analyze the financial feasibility level of the oyster mushroom baglog business in Bakung Village. (3) Analyze the sensitivity of the feasibility of the oyster mushroom baglog business in Bakung Village in the event of a decrease in the selling price of baglogs, a decrease in production, and an increase in operating costs. This research uses a case study at Yadin Baglog UMKM involving the business owner directly. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Financial feasibility analysis was conducted using several indicators, namely: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Benefit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Gross Benefit-Cost Ratio (Gross B/C), Break Even Point (BEP), and Payback Period (PP). The results showed that baglog farming in Yadin Baglog UMKM is financially feasible, with NPV > 0, IRR higher than the discount rate, Net B/C and Gross B/C > 1, and Payback Period shorter than the investment life. Break Even Point (BEP) was also achieved in the first year of production. Sensitivity analysis shows that the business remains viable despite a decrease in baglog selling price and a decrease in baglog production by 14.09%, a maximum limit of change of 14.09%, an increase in operational costs by 17.44%. This research shows that oyster mushroom baglog cultivation is a profitable agribusiness opportunity and is recommended for further development.
