ANALISIS KOMPARASI PENDAPATAN DAN PEMASARAN CABAI MERAH KERITING SEBELUM DAN PADA SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19 DI DESA TANJUNG PERING KECAMATAN INDRALAYA UTARA KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
Thisstudyaimsto:(1)Calculating the income of curly red chili farming in Tanjung Pering Village, North Indralaya Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic compared to before the pandemic, (2) Analyzing marketing channels and efficiency in Tanjung Pering Village, North Indralaya Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic compared to before the pandemic, (3) Analyzing the difference in farmers' income during the Covid-19 pandemic and before the pandemic in Tanjung Pering Village, North Indralaya Sub-district, Ogan Ilir Regency. The method used in this research is the survey method and data collection is done through direct interviews using questionnaires to 30 curly red chili farmers. The results of this study showed that the average income earned by curly red chili farmers in Tanjung Pering Village was Rp.24,414,488 / ha / year before the Covid-19 pandemic and amounted to Rp.19,202,317 / ha / year. The results of the feasibility of large red chili farms obtained an R / C Ratio value before the pandemic period of 3.45 and during the pandemic of 4.48. In accordance with the eligibility criteria obtained, namely the R / C Ratio> 1, then the farm is feasible or profitable. Analysis of the efficiency level of the curly red chili channel which is divided into 3 channel patterns both before the pandemic and during the pandemic, the most effective marketing channel pattern efficiency is both in channel III, namely 14.40% before the pandemic and 10.29% during the covid-19 pandemic. There are differences in farmers' opinions before and during Covid-19. In this study, the effect of income differences was due to chili farmers having low income during the Covid-19 pandemic compared to before. Red chili production during the pandemic increased, while the price decreased, causing farmers' income to decrease during the Covid-19 pandemic.
