Osteochondroma is a growth on the external surface of bone, which can be sessile or pedunculated. Osteochondroma can be a solitary osteochondroma or multiple osteochondromas as part of a syndrome commonly known as hereditary multiple exostoses (HME). The general objective of this study was to calculate the various diagnostic test values of X-ray examination of histopathological osteochonroma at the Mohammad Hoesin Hospital in Palembang. The type of research to be used is analytic research with a diagnostic test research design. Samples were taken using secondary data from patient medical records, and sampling was carried out in a consecutive manner by taking all samples that met the inclusion criteria until the number of samples was sufficient. Osteochondroma patients at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Hospital were mostly found in the age group of 11-20 years (59.4%), male gender (75%), tumor location mostly in the femur (46.9%), tumor size mostly 2-4 cm (65.6%). X-ray examination identified 22 samples (68.8%) positive for osteochondroma, and histopathological examination identified 30 samples (93.8%) positive for osteochondroma. The concordance test obtained a value of 0.256. The diagnostic test results, a sensitivity of 70%; specificity of 50%%; positive predictive value of 95.4%; negative predictive value of 10%; and accuracy of 68.7% were obtained. Osteochondroma patients were mostly found in the age range of 11-20 years, male gender. The most tumors are found in the femur, the size of the tumor is 2-4 cm. The results of the suitability test obtained fair agremeent or good enough Keywords: Osteochondroma, diagnostic tests, X-ray, Histopathologic.
