KAJIAN SIFAT KIMIA TANAH DI LAHAN RAWA PASANG SURUT PASCA BANJIR UNTUK PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN TEBU DI PT PRATAMA NUSANTARA SAKTI

Ramadhan, RizalĀ  - Personal Name;

The condition of tidal land which has the potential to be a medium for plant growth is still an obstacle in the process of developing and producing plant activities. This is due to the existence of limiting factors that inhibit plant growth and production. PT Pratama Nusantara Sakti is a sugar cane plantation company that uses tidal land as a medium for growing plants. The land criteria used in this research are rengas land which is idle land without previous processing and which is planned to be cleared for sugar cane crops in the following season, flood land which is land that has been flooded for approximately the last year and post-flood land which is post-flood land. floods which in the last year have experienced flooding due to rainfall and sea tides. The results of the analysis show that the condition of the rengas land has been without treatment for a long time, so the results of the analysis of the chemical properties of the soil are classified as low to medium. This shows that the condition of the untreated land has characteristics that are still lacking in supporting the growth of sugar cane plants, so it requires treatment before planting. This is inversely proportional to the results of the analysis of the chemical properties of flood land and post-flood land which have results from very low to quite low. In conditions of land that has been flooded, it has a run-off condition due to high rainfall and causes a decrease in nutrient levels in the soil. The potential that can be done is to improve the condition of the land by adding organic materials as well as fertilizer and lime which can improve the chemical properties of nutrients. Keywords: Tidal Land, Sugarcane (Saccharum Officinarum L.), Flooded Land, Soil Chemical Properties
