TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DISORDERS OF SEX DEVELOPMENT (DSD) PADA MAHASISWI AKADEMI KEBIDANAN DI KOTA PALEMBANG
Background: Checking the sex of the baby is the first step to be taken by health professionals after the mother gives birth. Although this examination is generally simple, challenges arise in cases of genitalia confusion known as Disorders of Sex Development (DSD). Research by Ediati in Semarang in 2016 found that 44-60% of midwives still experience errors in identifying DSD in newborns. Methods: Descriptive observational research with a cross-sectional research design was conducted from September 2, 2024 to November 22, 2024.
