PERBANDINGAN JATUH TEGANGAN MENGGUNAKAN PERHITUNGAN MANUAL DAN SIMULASI ETAP PADA JARINGAN DISTRIBUSI PENYULANG MERAPI GARDU INDUK SIMPANG TIGA INDRALAYA
In the distribution system from the feeder to the load, voltage drop disturbances can cause a reduction in the quality of electrical energy. Therefore, the objective of this research is to determine and analyze the voltage drop on the Merapi feeder at the simpang tiga Indralaya substation through manual calculations and ETAP simulations, then to compare the results. In manual calculations, researcher founds that the voltage drop at the Merapi Feeder was 15.7%. Meanwhile, the voltage drop in the ETAP simulation is 14,43%. The difference result between the two is only 1,27%. The voltage drop value that occurs in the Merapi feeder does not comply with permitted standards. In accordance with the rules in SPLN 72: 1987, PT. PLN sets a maximum voltage drop of 5%. This is caused by the length of the Merapi feeder line is too long and selection of cable type with a smaller cross-sectional area.
