ANALISIS LINEAMENT DENSITY DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP KERAWANAN BENCANA LONGSOR PADA KECAMATAN ULU MANNA DAN SEKITARNYA, KABUPATEN BENGKULU SELATAN, PROVINSI BENGKULU

Satriadi, M. Deden  - Personal Name;

Every region in Indonesia is not exempt from disasters, whether natural or social. One area in Indonesia that is the subject of this discussion is South Bengkulu Regency. Based on data from the National Disaster Management Agency, landslides have been a frequent occurrence in the past 10 years. To minimize landslide incidents, an initial mapping of landslide disaster vulnerability areas is necessary, which will be the main topic of this research. The study and research process employ remote sensing methods using satellite imagery data (e.g., Landsat-8, ALOS PALSAR, Radar, Sentinel, DEMNAS) and aerial photographs. Determining landslide vulnerability points involves analyzing lineament density and various geological aspects (such as lithology, geological structure, and geomorphology). These factors are then modeled using the Weighted Overlay Model with weighted sum tools in ArcGIS. The parameters used for weighting are lithology (20%), geomorphology (20%), lineament density (30%), and slope inclination (30%). The shaded relief image analysis in the study area is divided into two segments: Segment A (0°, 45°, 90°, 135°) represents positive relief patterns related to landforms, rock properties, and weathering levels. Segment B (180°, 225°, 270°, and 315°) represents negative relief patterns associated with water flow control in the study area. The study area exhibits rugged relief features. Lineament extraction from the shaded relief image data reveals a dominant NW-SE orientation in Segment A, while Segment B shows NW- SE and NE-SW orientations. Furthermore, lineament density analysis indicates relatively high straightness density in this area, suggesting intense topographic relief development influenced by geological factors. Consequently, this development affects slope stability, leading to landslide activity at specific locations within the study area. After conducting the analysis and interpretation according to the chosen method, the final result of this research is a map showing landslide-prone areas. The map indicates that landslide potential is distributed across two sub-districts: Air Nipis and Ulu Manna. Villages such as Keban Jati, Kayu Ajaran, Air Tenam Dalam, Lubuk Tapi, and Sukamaju have a relatively high susceptibility to landslides. On the other hand, villages like Pino Baru, Talang Tinggi, Simpang Pino, Merambung, and Bandar Agung exhibit low to moderate landslide potential. Finally, Batu Panco, Palak Bengkerung, Tanjung Beringin, and Batu Kuning are relatively prone to medium to high disaster risk.
