EVALUASI PENERAPAN ASPEK KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA PADA ELEVATOR LINTAS REL TERPADU (LRT) DI PALEMBANG BERDASARKAN PERMENAKER NO. 6 TAHUN 2017

Lintas Rel Terpadu (LRT) is a transportation tool that has infrastructure within it such as elevators, which pose potential dangers and safety risks. Based on data from the ILO, it is stated that in Indonesia alone, the death toll due to work accidents in the construction sector reaches 20 people per 100,000 workers. This study aims to analyze the suitability of the implementation of occupational safety and health (OSH) aspects towards elevator safety management, unsafe actions, and unsafe conditions on elevators in the Palembang IRT. This type of research is obtained from primary and secondary data that is transcribed into matrices according to variables. The research was conducted on elevator technicians and operators and passengers who use elevators with a total of 15 informants. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with purposive sampling. The results show that in Elevator OSH Management, there are no recorded accidents in the Palembang IRT elevators due to regular maintenance and operation by the BPKARSS and IRT agencies, which refer to Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 6 of 2017, also utilizing applicable policies. However, findings related to Unsafe Actions indicate shortcomings in licensing and certification for elevator operators, which can pose potential safety risks for users and elevator operations. There is a need for stricter OSH requirements to ensure the safety and health of workers and passengers on the Palembang IRT. In addition, for Unsafe Conditions, it is found that although elevator building components have complied with Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 6 of 2017, there are still comfort issues especially during peak hours. Proposed solutions involve diverting non-priority passengers to alternative facilities such as escalators or stairs, thus improving the comfort of priority passengers. Therefore, further understanding of safety management, unsafe actions, and unsafe conditions can enhance the safety and comfort of elevator users in the Palembang LRT.
