ANALISIS BALIK LERENG MENGGUNAKAN METODE MORGENSTREN-PRICE PADA BLOK X PIT X PT.BUKIT ASAM, TBK., TANJUNG ENIM, SUMATERA SELATAN
The research was conducted in the Tanjung Enim area, South Sumatra. Back analysis of slope stability was performed to determine the actual condition of unstable rock masses and slopes by studying the factors that caused the landslides that had occurred. The purpose of this back analysis was to recommend a safe slope design and identify the factors that caused landslides in the study area. This study used primary data to determine the rock quality in the study area, which consisted of RMR classified as fair rock and GSI categorized as fair. Secondary data was taken from company data, namely the values of specific gravity, cohesion, and internal friction angle, as well as from the Tanah Air Indonesia and Indonesia Geospasial websites to create elevation maps, slope maps, and geomorphological maps. The data was then processed using Geostudio Slope/W 2023 software with the Morgenstern-Price method to model the slope design and obtain the safety factor. Next, a slope design evaluation was carried out, namely a back analysis to engineer the slope conditions before the landslide occurred. This slope design re-modeling was carried out to design the recommended geometry by obtaining a stable Safety Factor (SF) value. In slope engineering at the research site, landslides occurred, with the initial slope safety factor classified as stable at a groundwater level 5 m below the surface and at the saturated water level. Subsequently, a back analysis with the slope safety factor value was classified as a landslide. The results of the slope condition evaluation were due to the characteristics of the rock and weather conditions. After that, slope geometry recommendations were made to create a slope with a stable safety factor.
