Post sectio caesarea patients generally experience complaints of pain which if not treated immediately can have an impact on anxiety, fear, personality and behavior changes, sleep disturbances, and limited physical mobilization which will affect the patient's quality of life. Nursing intervention that can be carried out to help reduce pain in post sectio caesarea patients is autogenic relaxation technique. This study aims to apply nursing care to post sectio caesarea patients who experience acute pain using autogenic relaxation technique. This research used qualitative research methods with a case study approach on 3 post sectio caesarea patients with acute pain problem. This research results shows that there are 8 nursing problems on the three patients managed with the main nursing problem is acute pain. The intervention given to help reduce pain is autogenic relaxation technique. After giving this intervention, it was found that the patient's pain scale decreased by 1-2 points. Autogenic relaxation technique can increase the production of enkephalins and β endorphins, which a role in creating a feeling of relaxation and comfort which ultimately eliminates pain neurotransmitters in the somatic sensory perception and interpretation center of the brain so that pain is reduced. Autogenic relaxation technique can be used as complementary therapy for post sectio caesarea patients to help reduce pain.
