Background: Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the world and the colorectal cancer is the one that develops in the colon, which is the final part of the digestive tract. The most effective management of colon cancer is surgery, yet it will cause major injuries, long healing, ongoing treatment, and risk complications. Collaboration of pharmacological therapy with nonpharmacological therapies, such as distraction techniques, can help divert pain. One of the interventions provided is Benson's relaxation therapy and white noise. Objective: To describe the nursing care in post-lymphomatic colorectal cancer patients and the effect of Benson relaxation therapy and white noise in lowering pain levels. Methods: A case study by selecting three managed patients with post-laparatomy colorectal cancer in the Rawas Ward 1.1 of Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Central General Hospital of Palembang. Results: The nursing care carried out on the three post-laparatomy colorectal cancer patients obtained four actual diagnoses with nursing problems consisting of acute pain, nutritional deficits, skin integrity disorders, sleep disorders, and two risk diagnoses, namely the risk of infection and the risk of nutritional deficit. Discussion: The main interventions provided were pain management, nutrition management, wound care, sleep support, and infection prevention. The application of Benson relaxation therapy and white noise was given for 10-15 minutes. Conclusion: After being given the nursing care for 3 days, there were two nursing problems resolved and 4 nursing problems were partially resolved. In all the three cases, there was a decrease in pain levels with the results of the assessment from moderate to mild pain. The nursing care, pain management and the application of Benson relaxation therapy and white noise had an effect on reducing pain levels in the three patients in the Rawas Ward 1.1 of Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Central General Hospital of Palembang.
