ANALISIS HASIL PENCARIAN SUDUT OPTIMAL PANEL SURYA DI INDRALAYA MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE PVSYST
This study aims to analyze the optimal tilt angle for solar panel installation in the Indralaya region using PVsyst software, and to evaluate the energy generation characteristics at various tilt angles. The background of this research is rooted in the critical role of electricity in Indonesia's economy and the commitment of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) to achieve the Net Zero Emission target by 2060. Simulations and analyses reveal that the optimal tilt angles for maximizing energy production in the Indralaya region are 7° and 8°. At these angles, solar panels can maximize energy generation efficiency throughout the year. Additionally, a detailed analysis reveals that the optimal tilt angle varies each month; for example, in January, the best angle is 0°, while in June, the optimal angle ranges from 32° to 35°. This variation indicates the need for dynamic adjustment of the solar panel tilt angle in accordance with seasonal changes and the position of the sun to maximize energy production. The study also finds that smaller angles (0-20 degrees) tend to produce more stable energy throughout the year, whereas larger angles (60-90 degrees) show instability with significant energy production peaks in June. These findings suggest that seasonal adjustment of the solar panel tilt angle can enhance energy production efficiency.
