PENGGUNAAN MEDIA POHON UNTUK MENGENALKAN HURUF DAN ANGKA PADA ANAK USIA DINI DI KELOMPOK BERMAIN MAWAR SPNF SKB OGAN ILIR

Cognitive development is an important aspect in developing children's thinking abilities, one of which is recognizing letters and numbers. This research aims to find out how tree media is used in an effort to introduce letters and numbers to young children in the SPNF SKB Ogan Ilir rose play group. The subjects in this research were children aged 3 - 5 years at SPNF SKB Ogan Ilir. The subjects of this research were 20 children, consisting of 12 boys and 8 girls. The data collection technique used in this research was observation of children's abilities in recognizing letters and numbers, teacher and child activities and documentation. The method used is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach oriented towards SPNF SKB Ogan Ilir PAUD students which aims to find out how to use tree media in an effort to introduce letters and numbers to young children in the SPNF SKB Ogan Ilir rose play group. The results of this research show that the 3 ability indicators, namely the developing indicator (b) obtained a frequency of 19 with a percentage of 15.2% in the developing category, the indicator according to expectations (bsh) obtained a frequency of 43 with a percentage of 34.4% in the developing appropriate category. hope, and the very well developed (bsb) indicator obtained a frequency of 18 with a percentage of 14.4% in the very well developed category. Thus, it can be interpreted that the ability to recognize letters and numbers in young children in the SPNF SKB Ogan Ilir rose play group has gone very well.
