Up until now, it is still very rare to find an infrastructure that can accommodate the learning process, exploration, and growth of children to the fullest. This led to the idea of designing a Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space in a Densely Populated Area of Urban-Village. However, not only as a facility for children, but also as a place designed to anticipate the need for public space in Palembang City, especially in densely populated area. This design is carried out to provide a safe and friendly place for children to support the children's growth, parents' comfort, and also as a communal space for the locals in densely populated neighborhood to interact socially. The design adapts the concept of green open space with complete facilities and the presence of infrastructure supporting children's development, such as libraries, playgorund, indoor playroom, lactation rooms, Integrated Healthcare Center, and many other facilities that can be utilized by children, parents, as well as the local community. Designed to be child-friendly and safe with the application of child-friendly architecture and the use of sustainable materials. In addition to being located in a densely populated urban village neighborhood, it is also located in a strategic area which is the banks of the Musi River so that these conditions can be maximally utilized in the application of the concept and idea of the design.
