PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS WORDWALL TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI KELAS XI IPS DI SMA PUSRI PALEMBANG

The use of monotonous learning methods, such as sticking to textbooks and repetitive exercises, causes students interest in learning economics in class XI IPS at SMA Pusri Palembang to be low. The lack of variety in learning activities makes students easily bored and less motivated to participate actively in learning. This study aims to prove the influence of the use of wordwall-based learning media on the learning interest of students in the XI IPS economics subject at SMA Pusri Palembang. This research uses a quantitative method with an experimental research type employing a pre-experimental design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study consists of all XI IPS class students at SMA Pusri Palembang. The sample for this study is class XI IPS 1, consisting of 29 students as the experimental class. The sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and observations. The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test formula show that tcount > ttable, which is 1,8554 > 1,703, meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using wordwall learning media on the learning interest of students in the XI IPS economics subject at SMA Pusri Palembang. It is recommended for educators to utilize and be more creative in selecting the features available on the wordwall learning media, and for further researchers to expand the sample scope and optimize time allocation in the implementation of learning.
