RANCANG BANGUN ALAT PENETAS TELUR PUYUH DENGAN SISTEM MONITORING SUHU DAN KELEMBABAN MENGGUNAKAN SENSOR DHT11 BERBASIS IOT
The hatching process of quail eggs in an incubator highly depends on stable temperature and humidity conditions; therefore, a device capable of accurately monitoring these parameters is required. In this study, a quail egg incubator equipped with an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system was developed, utilizing NodeMCU ESP8266 as the microcontroller connected to a DHT11 sensor to detect temperature and humidity inside the incubator. The system is also integrated with a heating lamp, fan, and synchronous motor that are automatically controlled. Measurement data are transmitted in real time to the Blynk application, enabling users to remotely monitor the incubator’s conditions via mobile devices. The experimental results show that the system operates stably, maintaining the temperature within 37.1°C–38.2°C and humidity within 55–65%. The sensor readings achieved an average accuracy of 99.76% and precision of 99.37% for temperature measurement, while for humidity measurement, an average accuracy of 99.8% and precision of 99.1% were obtained.
