AKTIVITAS PERTAMBANGAN DAN PRODUKTIVITAS ALAT GALI MUAT DAN ALAT ANGKUT PADA KEGIATAN PENGUPASAN OVERBURDEN DAN BATUBARA DI PIT ARIENDRA UTARA, PT TRIMATA BENUA, KECAMATAN TUNGKAI ILIR, KABUPATEN BANYUASIN, PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN

PT Trimata Benua is one of the coal mining companies located in Bentayan Village, Sungai Lilin District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. The mining system at PT Trimata Benua is carried out using an open-pit mining system employing surface mining methods managed by its contracting companies, namely PT Glora Makara Teknik (GMT) and Ombilin Fusi Nusantara (OFN). The stages of mining activities conducted include land clearing, top soil removal, overburden stripping, transporting and storing overburden, coal getting, loading and transporting coal, sales and marketing, reclamation, and post-mining. The production target is the achievement of parameters indicating whether a mining company successfully conducts its activities in order to attain profits each year. Based on the productivity calculations of overburden stripping in Pit Ariendra Utara PT Trimata Benua. The productivity of the Hyundai R850Lc excavator loading unit is 273.63 bcm/hour and the HD Tonly TL849R hauling unit is 34.19 bcm/hour. The production output of the Hyundai R850Lc excavator loading unit is 67,080 bcm/month and the HD Tonly TL849R hauling unit is 46,743 bcm/month. The match factor obtained is 0.74 < 1, which indicates that the loading equipment often waits for the hauling equipment and operates at less than 100% efficiency. Factors affecting the productivity of the loading and hauling equipment during the overburden stripping include the cycle time of the loading equipment, cycle time of the hauling equipment, working time, weather factors, undulating hauling roads, as well as obstacles that can be avoided or are unavoidable.
