This research discusses the illness behavior of Miftahuayifa patients in Pasar IVillage, Aluara Enim Regency (case study of Miftahusyifa Alternative MedicinePondak). The aim of this research it to analyse und understand the illnestbehavior of Afflahusyifa patients. The results of this research show that manyprople choose Miftakutyifa Alternative Aledicine Pondok at a treatment mediumbecause the price it affordable and is able in cure the disease ruffered by thepatient through the following stages: symptom recognition stage, axrumption ofpain, contact with health services stage, the dependent stage of the sick personand finally the healing stage (rehabilitation). The research method used isdescriptive qualitative with a case stuly research strategy. This research usesSuchman's defensive response theary. Data was obtained from 6 key informant, 6main informants and I supporting informant using data collection techniques inthe form of observation, interviews, documentation and literature stuly.
