OPTIMALISASI INVERTER SATU FASA 8 LEVEL 1000 WP SINUSOIDAL PWM (PULSE WITDH MODULE)
Humans are highly dependent on electricity, both for household and industrial needs. With population growth, the demand for electricity increases. Power plants are developing to meet this need, including in remote areas, hence the necessity for inverters to convert direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). This research aims to design a single-phase 8-level 1000-watt sinusoidal PWM inverter to achieve better output results than the existing inverters from Taffware. The results of the 10-day study show that the single-phase 8-level 1000-watt sinusoidal PWM inverter prototype operates well, with the output voltage value of the Taffware inverter having a higher average value of 226 V, while the output voltage value of the 8 Level inverter has an average value of 218 V, which is closer to the standard output voltage value of 220 V. On the other hand, the current value obtained from the 8 Level inverter is higher, with a value of 0.88 A, compared to the Taffware inverter, which has a value of 0.43 A.
