The Human Development Index (HDI) is one of the main indicators used to measure the progress of a region in terms of health, education, and income. Population health is one of the main focuses of sustainable development, but how significant the factors associated with health status in urban and rural areas in Indonesia have not been analyzed in more depth. This study aims to determine the factors associated with population health status in urban and rural areas in Indonesia. This study used secondary data from the World Value Survey with a cross sectional research design. Sampling using total sampling with a sample of 2913 respondents. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis on complex samples.
