Concrete is a commonly used construction material for various projects such as buildings, bridges, and roads. It is formed from a mixture of fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, water, and cement that hardens like stone through chemical reactions. Concrete excels in bearing heavy loads, withstanding high temperatures, and being easily moldable. As the most widely used construction material globally, normal concrete dominates with a density ranging from 2,200 to 2,500 kg/m³ using crushed stone aggregates. Concrete characteristics include high compressive strength and low tensile strength, which can be enhanced by adding macro and micro fibers. Innovations in concrete, such as Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC), incorporate fibers to improve tensile and flexural strength. Research indicates that Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) reinforced with hybrid fibers can enhance both compressive and flexural strengths compared to normal concrete. Using macro and micro fiber combinations in compositions like FS-MA-0.75%-MI-0.5%, FS-MA-0.5%-MI-0.5%, FS-MA-0.5%-MI-0.25%, FS-MA-0.5%-MI-0.75%, and FS-MA-0.25%-MI-0.5%, average compressive strengths were recorded as 31 MPa, 34 MPa, 36 MPa, 26 MPa, and 34 MPa respectively, with relative changes of 3%, 12%, 21%, -12%, 12% compared to normal concrete having 30 MPa compressive strength. Meanwhile, average flexural strengths were 5.36 MPa, 5.99 MPa, 6.97 MPa, 4.79 MPa, and 6.14 MPa respectively, with relative changes of 4%, 15%, 35%, -7%, 20% compared to normal concrete flexural strength of 5.17 MPa.
