ANALISIS WACANA BERBASIS KORPUS PADA PEMBERITAAN KASUS KANJURUHAN PADA MEDIA ONLINE DI INDONESIA

The Kanjuruhan tragedy is one of the most tragic events in the history Indonesian football, attracting widespread attention from various groups. This study aims to analyze the media coverage of the tragedy by online news portal in Indonesia using a Corpus-Based Discourse Analysis approach. By utilizing the Voyant Tools software, this study analyzes language patterns through word through word frequency, concordance, and collocation found in the news texts from eight local news portals. The research findings show that the discourse constructed by the media tends to focus on criticism of security forces, empathy towards the victims, and highlighting inadequate stadium regulations. However, the coverage still shows certain biases that could influence readers’ perceptions. This study contributes to understanding language patterns in online media discourse and its implications for shaping public opinion regarding this case.
