The measurement tools used were the self-objectification scale, based on the aspects proposed by Dahl et al. (2014), and the life satisfaction scale, based on the aspects proposed by Diener et al. (1999). The results showed that there is a relationship between self-objectification and life satisfaction, with sig 0.040 (p < 0.05), indicating a negative correlation (r = -0.127). This means that the higher the level of self-objectification, the lower the level of life satisfaction. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the hypothesis of this study is accepted.
