RESPON PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) DI PRE-NURSERY TERHADAP DOSIS KOMPOS BLOTONG TEBU
This study aimed to determine the effect of sugarcane filter cakes on the growth of oil palm seedlings in the pre-nursery stage. The research was conducted at the ATC Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agiculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The study was carried out from December 2023 to February 2024. The method used was a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consisting of six treatments. The treatments included P0 (Control), P1 100 g per seedling (3% B/b), P2 150 g per seedling (5% B/b), P3 200 g per seedling (6% B/b), P4 250 g per seedling (8% B/b), P5 300 g per seedling (10% B/b). Data obtained from the analysis were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by the Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test at the 5% level for significant variables. The research results showed that the treatment of 200 g per seedling sugarcane bagasse compost (6% B/b) significantly influenced and produced the best growth in seedling height, stem diameter, leaf count, leaflet length, and percentage of compound leaves of oil palm seedlings in the pre-nursery stage.
