PERANCANGAN APLIKASI MONITORING SUHU DAN KELEMBABAN UDARA BERBASIS MOBILE PADA SMART FARMING
Modern agriculture is undergoing a significant transformation with the adoption of Internet of Things (IoT)-based technologies under the smart farming concept. This study aims to design and implement a temperature and humidity monitoring system based on a microcontroller integrated with an Android application developed using MIT App Inventor. The system enables farmers to monitor field conditions in real time via mobile devices, facilitating faster and more accurate decision-making. Environmental data are collected using a DHT11 sensor and transmitted to the mobile application via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity. The results indicate that the system provides accurate information with a simple and user-friendly interface, thus enhancing efficiency in agricultural activities. Therefore, the development of this mobile-based monitoring system represents a concrete step toward supporting sustainable and efficient smart farming practices.
