HUBUNGAN MALNUTRISI DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN PENYAKIT GINJAL KRONIK YANG MENJALANI HEMODIALISIS DI RS MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG PERIODE AGUSTUS 2024
Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) undergoing hemodialysis often face the problem of high rates of malnutrition. Malnutrition itself is a health problem caused by improper nutrition, when the body does not not meet the adequate vitamins, minerals and nutrients needed.Hemodialysis is carried out to maintain survival while also changing the patient's lifestyle.This type of research is observational analytic with a cross-sectional study design, namely emphasizing the time of measurement or observation of data at one time at one time which is carried out on the independent variables in this study using primary data, data collection was carried out from the questionnaire for the August 2024 period which was filled out independently by patients in the Hemodialysis Installation section of the Mohammad Hoesin Hospital, Palembang until the sample was fulfilled.In hemodialysis patients with malnutrition affecting quality of life, the age range was most often under 45 years old, as many as 31 (51.7%) samples with a dominant female gender, there were 31 (51.7%) who on average had good nutrition, 45 (75.0%) samples, there was a weight loss of less than 20% obtained as many as 45 (75.0%) samples, it was also found that hemodialysis patients at RSMH in the August 2024 period had different quality of life in each domain, in domain 1 hemodialysis patients had good quality, as many as 37 (61.7%) samples, domain 2 the majority experienced poor psychology, 41 (68.3%), domain 3 the majority had good social relations, 48 (80.0%) samples, hemodialysis patients on average had a good environment, as many as 58 (96.7%) samples.There is no significant relationship between malnutrition and quality of life in hemodialysis patients at RSMH in the period August 2024.
