Afrilia, Rindu Ade Mika  - Personal Name;

Perception is a person’s point of view or opinion from the information obtained regarding the Covid-19 vaccine which will influence that person’s belief in the usefullness and process of receiving vaccine. This is because there are many issues that occur in society regarding the function of and effectivenessof vaccines. A bad perception of Covid-19 vaccination can have an impact on the process of accepting vaccination by the public. This research aims to determine the risk factors that influence public perception and coverage of Covid-19 vaccination acceptance in the Palembang City Social Health Center work area. This research is a descriptive quantitive analytical survey research using cross sectional design. The number of samples taken was 154 people using pusposive sampling, data analysis using the chi square test. This research intrument uses a google form and a questionnaire that filled in directly. The result of the survey showed that there was no relationship between the variables age (p=0,082), gender (p=0,967), educational status (p=0,082), employment status (p=0,477) willingness to be vaccinated (p=1,000) dan knowledge (p=0,573) with perception of the Covid-19 vaccines. The majority of the respondents based on age are in adult age group and are dominated by male respondents. The community in the PKM Social work area already has good perception (59,7%) and more than half of the respondents have a good knowledge of the Covid-19 vaccine. It is hoped that the public can continue to followhealth protocals and access the Covid-19 vaccination facilities provided by government.
