PROFIL PASIEN ANEURISMA OTAK YANG DITERAPI DENGAN CLIPPING DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG PADA JANUARI 2022 - MEI 2024

Cerebral aneurysms occur in the arterial wall of the brain. Clipping, a common method used in aneurysms management, but at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Hospital this procedure han only been done since 2022. This study aims to determine the profile of cerebral aneurysm patients treated with clipping at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Hospital in January 2022 – May 2024. This study uses a descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The reasearch data was taken in the form of secondary data through patient medical records with total sampling. There were 40 patients with cerebral aneurysms treated with clipping. The results of this study showed that the most common patient profile was the age group of 50–64 years (57,5%), female (65%), claimed a headache (65%), Hunt and Hess scale grade III (47,5%), Fisher scale grade IV (55%), located in the middle cerebral artery (40%), rupture (87,5%), and score 5 GOS (30%). This study provides a profile of cerebral aneurysm patients treated with clipping based on age, gender, clinical symptomps, Hunt and Hess assessment, Fisher scale assessment, location of the aneurysm, procedure indication, and outcome.
