DETERMINAN PEMANFAATAN KARTU JAMINAN KESEHATAN NASIONAL DALAM PELAYANAN KELUARGA BERENCANA DI INDONESIA

Integrating the family planning program into the national health insurance scheme is expected to improve access and quality of family planning services, and reproductive health. However, in its implementation, it turns out that there are still few people who utilize the national health insurance card for family planning services. This study examined the determinants of national health insurance card utilization for family planning services in Indonesia. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach using data from the 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS). The study sample amounted to 6,243 respondents who had been adjusted to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were analyzed univariately, bivariate using the chi-square test, and multivariate using multiple logistic regression tests. The study showed that the utilization of national health insurance cards in family planning services in Indonesia was 18.2%. Characteristics that had a significant association with the utilization of national health insurance cards in family planning services in Indonesia included region of residence, economic status, number of living children, and contraceptive method.
