This research is entitled "Changes in Marriage Customs in the Community of Kotadaro 1 Village, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Ilir Regency, 2010-2024". The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the History of Traditional Marriage in Kotadaro Village 1, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Ilir Regency in 2010-2024, What Changes Occurred in Traditional Marriage in Kotadaro Village 1, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Ilir Regency in 2010-2024 and What is the Impact of Changes in Traditional Marriage in Kotadaro Village 1, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Ilir Regency in 2010-2024 The purpose of this study is to find out how the history of traditional marriage in Kotadaro Village 1, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Ilir Regency and to find out what changes occurred in traditional marriage in Kotadaro Village 1, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The method used in this study is history with research steps, namely heuristics, source criticism, and histiography regarding the approaches taken, namely sociological and economic approaches. This research reveals changes in marriage customs in Kotadaro 1 Village, driven by increasingly modern developments. Consequently, the values inherent in these customs are at risk of being lost and fading.
